1° Day: Welcome to the island of sun 

Self-arrival to Sicily in the afternoon, check-in and explore the surroundings.
 

2° Day: Valley of Temples, Kolymbetra Gardens and Old Town

After breakfast, we will drive to the "Valley of Temples" of Agrigento, which is one of the most important archaeological sites of antiquity. Here we will take an extensive walk through one of the most beautiful valleys in the world. Surrounded by blooming meadows and old almond trees, the classic temples of Juno, Concordia, Hercules, Zeus, Castor, and Pollux stand. Our tour guide will give us the necessary information about it. Next, we will visit the Kolymbetra Gardens, which is considered one of the most beautiful gardens in Italy. In the afternoon, we will explore the streets of the Old Town. Especially worth seeing is the Via Athenea, the shopping street of the city and the Cathedral.
 

3° Day: Eraclea Minoa - Monte Kronio - Sciacca

Through the Sicani Mountains, the route leads to Eraklea Minoa, a small excavation site near the Platani River. The view of the sandy beach and the high and steep chalk walls is breathtaking. Continuing along a fascinating landscape on the slopes of the Sicani Park, we will reach Sciacca, one of the oldest thermal spa towns in the world. Monte Kronio tells ancient myths. In its steaming caves, the indigenous people let their imagination run wild to explain the natural phenomena. We will also see the Piazza Scandaliato with a beautiful view of the harbor. Afterwards, there is time for shopping and strolling.
 

4° Day: Farm Cultural Park in Favara

The morning is yours, would you like to relax, take a walk in the dunes? Or stroll through the old town? In the afternoon, we will drive to Favara, where in 2010 a small cultural center of the new generation was established in which culture becomes a noble instrument to revive the city. In recent years, the attempt of these young artists has grown and has given the city incentive and courage for the present and future. Stroll through this artists' quarter and let yourself be inspired.
 

5° Day: Transfer drive to Piazza Armerina - Caltagirone to hotel in Syracuse - Noto area

We will leave Agrigento towards Piazza Armerina, here we will visit the Roman Villa del Casale, which served as a luxurious country house for a member of the Roman aristocracy, which in turn is a world cultural heritage of the first order. The floors of the 40 rooms are covered with almost completely preserved mosaics that cover a total area of about 3,000 sqm. The roof and mosaics were reopened to the public in 2014 after long-term restoration work in new glory. Then we will continue to Caltagirone, known for its ceramics and pottery, where we will visit a traditional ceramics workshop and learn about the history and art of this craft. After lunch, we will head to our hotel in the Syracuse-Noto area, where we will spend the night. This evening, we will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful baroque city of Noto, with its elegant palaces and churches.
 

6° Day: Syracuse - Ortigia

We will spend the morning exploring the historic city of Syracuse. We will start our visit at the Neapolis Archaeological Park, where we will see the ancient Greek theater, the Roman amphitheater, and the Ear of Dionysius, a limestone cave that was used as a prison in ancient times. Next, we will explore the island of Ortigia, the old town of Syracuse, with its charming streets and beautiful baroque buildings. Here we will visit the Cathedral of Syracuse and the Arethusa Fountain. In the afternoon, you will have free time to continue exploring the city on your own or relax at the hotel.
 

7° Day: Noto - and the almond valleys of Avola
The sights of this city, which has been a World Heritage Site since 2002, are numerous; the Palazzo Ducezio, the Duomo, the small theater Vittorio Emanuele, the campanile of the San Carlo church and much more. The hinterland is particularly attractive with numerous hiking opportunities and other sights. If you wish, we can pre-book a visit to a processing plant for you.
 

8° Day: Arrivederci Sicilia

After breakfast, it's time to say goodbye to Sicily, and you will start your return journey.
