01 day: Arrival in Catania and transfer to Syracuse area.
02. Day: Excursion Syracuse, Archaeological Zone and Ortigia.
Syracuse the largest and most powerful city of the Greek era. Here you will first visit the archaeological area, see the "Latomie del Paradiso" and the "Grotta dei Cordari" and the ear of Dionisus, the theater, the sacrificial altar of the Hieron and the Roman amphitheater. In Ortigia, visit the historic center of Syracuse and take a walk to the Arethusa Spring, the Duomo and the Temple of Apollo.
03. Day: Excursion Ragusa - Modica - Noto.
Nestled in a splendid land with dry stone walls and carob trees "Kharubba", which is a unique area in the surroundings of Modica and Ragusa, we find the highlights of Sicilian Baroque, first you drive to Ragusa. Here you go for a walk through the old town streets of Ragusa Ibla, we see .the impressive San Giorgio Church, a masterpiece by Rosario Gagliardi. On the way back we visit Modica, birthplace of the Nobel Prize winner (1959) Salvatore Quasimodo. The unique location of this city, the stacked houses and churches make Modica one of the most important sights in South-Eastern Sicily. Another special feature of the area is the chocolate production, many are the mostly small businesses that process the fine cocoa. A taste of fine chocolate in its many variants is highly recommended. Finally, we walk through the Corso of Noto and see the Palazzo Ducezio, the Duomo, the small theater Vittorio Emanuele, the Campanile of the San Carlo church and much more. Dinner and overnight.
04. day: final tension at the sea or at the pool.
Numerous are the activities of your hotel which you can enjoy today to the full extent. The hotel offers a wide range of sports and leisure facilities as well as a wellness center (for a fee) with a range of relaxing and therapeutic spa facilities including massages and beauty treatments. In the summer months, numerous sports activities such Archery. Additionally, there is a fully equipped dive center (for a fee).

05. day: free day
Then come to Piazza Armerina and Caltagirone
Drive to Piazza Armerina. Here you will visit the Roman Villa del Casale, which presumably served as the luxurious country house of a member of the Roman aristocracy, which in turn is a World Heritage Site of the first order. The floors of the 40 rooms are covered with almost completely preserved mosaics, covering a total area of about 3,000 square meters. The roofing and the mosaics were released to the public in 2014 after many years of restoration work. After lunch in the old town of Piazza Armerina, continue to Caltagirone. It is one of the late Baroque towns of the Val di Noto, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. People inhabited the area around Caltagirone in ancient times. From the 15th century, Caltagirone became a city of pottery. About 20,000 people lived here at that time and about 1,000 practiced the profession of ceramist. To this day, Caltagirone is considered the "ceramic capital" of Sicily.
Day 06: Excursion Palazzolo Acreide
Drive to Palazzolo Acreide, 664 BC the city of Akrai was founded by inhabitants of the city of Syracuse, in order to protect the routes to the cities in the south and to secure trade with the inland of Sicily. We see the archaeological zone, the theater, a Doric Aphrodite temple and the Ferali temple, as well as remnants of antique quarries with caves and graves. In the Valletta valley are the twelve Santoni, large stone figures from the 3rd century BC, originally painted and decorated with metal ornaments and used for the cult of Cybele.
07 day: Etna and to Taormina
You drive through lemon and orange plantations with unique landscape panoramas to the largest active volcano in Europe, the Etna. The journey takes you to the "Silvestri crater" at about 2,000 m. Height. From here optional with the cable car at 2,600 m. or jeeps up to approx. 3,000 m. to arrive (price approx. € 65.00). Numerous are the Hiking trails to explore here. In the afternoon, continue to Taormina. Visit to the ancient theater Optional and stroll through the medieval streets.
08 Day : Transfer to Catania airport
