Day 1: Arrival - Palermo

Arrival in Palermo airport. Reception by the guide and drive towards the city center. A short orientation tour through the main streets gives you a first impression of this unique and surprising city. Then drive to the hotel to move into your room.

Before dinner, your RL will inform you about the trip with a welcome cocktail and discuss the schedule for the next day. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Between "The Godfather" set and culture

The morning after Monreale. Here you will be amazed by the cathedral with its magnificent Byzantine mosaics.

On to Palermo. Here you can see all the sights of the lively port city of Palermo, such as the cathedral and the Cappella Palatina in the Norman Palace. Would you like a snack in the typical markets? Stroll with us through one of the historical markets of Palermo, Vucciria, Ballarò or Capo, which after "FORBES" is the capital of street food in Italy and is one of the 5 most important in the world. Here you can try "pane, panelle and arancini" and other specialties to your heart's content. In the late afternoon, visit the "Palazzo Valguernera Gangi, a jewel of the historic center of Palermo, best known as the protagonist of one of Luchino Visconti's masterpieces" Il Gattopardo "(The Leopard). Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: The stars under control

Drive via Cefalù - Castelbuono through the Madonie Park to Gangi, where the filming includes by Giuseppe Tornatore "L'uomo delle stelle" (the man who makes the stars) and Wim Wenders "Lisbon Story". Continue to Gangi, which was voted the most beautiful village in Italy in 2014. Here you take a long walk. Dinner and overnight.
